The Old School Room

Back in the 1800s the decision was made to establish a church school to serve the children of the area. Old school records state that a total of £92.19s.5d. In October 1852 a school for 35 children was opened. The school was closed in April 1922 some 70 years later.

A Conveyance and Trust Deed was established on 31st October 1985 so that the building now belonged to the community, and is now very much the focal point for many village events.
